What Is Candle Frosting?

Frosting appears as a white, crystal-like pattern on the surface or sides of a candle.
It is most common in soy wax candles and other plant-based waxes.

Why Candle Frosting Happens

Soy and plant-based waxes naturally crystallize as they cool. This causes the wax to form light, frosted patterns over time.
